Well you made it! Welcome to my Milwaukee Bucks blog. I will be updating this as much as possible. During the season my goal will be to blog at least every two games, If not more.
Now let me start out by telling you a little about me. I am a huge basketball fan, more important, I love the Milwaukee Bucks. I have had a 21 pack for the last seven years but I attend many more than that. I have played the game so I do have some knowledge about the game. In my first update here I just want to recap a little of the summer.
So we entered the draft with 6th pick, very disappointing considering we started the lottery at three. But with that pick we took Yi from China who I believe will turn into one of the top three players selected in this draft. His people tried very hard to keep him from Milwaukee in an effort to get him in a bigger market. But our GM Larry Harris remained strong and forced Yi’s agents to have him come here in the fear of having to miss a year of basketball. I believe he will learn to love this city just as so many other players do when they get here.
We then were able to resign our top free agent in Mo Williams, Miami wined and dined him in an effort to get him in south beach. Once again Larry Harris and Senator Kohl stepped up to the plate and got Mo to return to the Bucks which was huge for the future of this team. It then showed Mo’s dedication to winning when he redid the first few years of his contract in order to free up money so they could pay Charlie Bell.
Charlie Bell is back. Very important to this team with his versatility on both the offense and defense of end of floor he will give this team a great amount of depth. Charlie had a little bit of a war of words with the team and he said some things he shouldn’t have said in the heat of the moment, but I will promise you all one thing he will play his heart out every night for this team.
